Little Grebe (Forest of Dean)



Pictures of the Little Grebe, I love them. Their summer isn't long enough, and they have to discard their summer plumage. Well, this is spring, so let's be happy.

Common Tern at Lydney boating lake






Once every year do the Common Tern pay us a visit, it lasts for 2 weeks. Fortunately it was that time, and fish is what they want. This fellow had eaten too much, probably bigger that its stomach.

Common Sandpiper at Mallards Pike (FOD)




You know how it feels, all senses are numbed, and if you wanted to move, but it will fly away. And it didn't, there was about two or three minutes, and then came two people and it flew away. I can't blame them, they were around when I got my buggy stuck, and gave me a shove.

Mandarin Ducks (Forest of Dean)

She has been in a fight
She looks like another bird, Swan possibly, grabbed her by the head-the mark on both sides.
She is quite beautiful.
And him, he is beeaaaauutiful as well.
This is a photo of his hair, it is grand. Yet, he is looking out for her, made a mistake the last time.
